Behind the Shutters
When the shutters come down, your evenings stay inside the workshop. This is the full stock list of what we hold.
What is kept
- Your ledger entry: email, your password in hashed form only, first name, birth date, gender, and anything written in your apron.
- Your chats, and the job card each craftsman keeps on your work.
- A sign-in cookie, plus a second that notes you pushed the bar at the door.
- For payments, the figure and the hash of the transaction. We hold no card details because the till takes no cards.
- The server's ordinary logs, cleared again after a little while, for security.
Why
So the workshops run, the rules hold and the lamps stay lit. Each message is answered by a chat model that either sits on our own servers or with a contractor engaged for this single job, and an automated check screens it for safety. We sell no one's evenings, and advertisers are kept outside the shutters.
Visitor numbers
A small tally counts how many people step into the yard and roughly where they come from. It sees nothing of your chats or your job cards.
Your choices
Each chat's menu lets you rewrite the job card he keeps on you, save the conversation or sweep it away. To strike your whole name from the ledger, send a request from the account's own email to the footer address. Wherever local law gives you more say than this, tell us and it will be done.
